DESIGN
the entire world looked confused
but he looked hard
and things fell into place.
something lay intertwined in it all
a design.
he looked at things
turned them upside down.
looked again
turned them around.
and then he understood
the kaleidoscope that was the world.
the cluster of stars above his head
were always ..well..clusters and nothing more.
then one day they separated into scorpions and kings
and he wondered how he hadnt seen before.
so the poet set out to look for forms that corresponded with the rest
and meant something as a whole.
he found it in frowns he found it in smiles
he even found it in bathroom tiles
the more he saw he realized
how life itself was a design
ps.written long ago.one of my favourites.

i like.and i agree...a lot of things in the world work too perfectly and everything falls into place....the design?...yes probably...i know it sounds silly....but i do believe to an extent that everything happens for a reason...and it all fits in...its all a part of the masterplan.
calvins predestination theory?
things which are to happen will n u can do nothing abt it.na sheta kintu bolini...
designs do turn up when you least expect them... one big design orlots of smaller designs...i don't know. this is my favourite, i think.
um i reallt dont believe in the predestinian theory but this poem makes me think about it.
joey i couldn't help commenting on this, though it was written so long ago.
i found it yesterday in the school magazine of 2005. you were in class 8. but it seemed like something you had written only yesterday. in a good way, you know.
considering how much of ourselves we discard over the years, wouldn't you call that remarkable?
